He rises to power after his release from jail and being caught up in an ambushed drug deal. While seeking out those responsible, he gradually builds an empire by seizing power from other criminal organizations in the Vice City.
Since its release, it has become the most famous and best-selling game of the year and has sold millions of copies. Gameplay:
GTA Vice City is a Third-person open-world action-adventure game played from a 3rd person perspective. You have to control the main character of the game, Tommy Vercetti, who is a criminal. You have to complete different missions in linear scenarios with set objectives to progress through the story in-game. Outside the missions, you can freely roam in the game’s open world and can complete some side missions as well.
In-game, you can run, jump or drive different vehicles to navigate the game world. You can use melee weapons, firearms, and explosives to fight your enemies. The firearms include weapons like Colt Python, an M60 machine gun, and a Minigun. During the story, you meet different characters from various gangs. As the player, you have to complete various missions for different gangs, and fellow gang members will often defend you, while rival gang members will recognize you and subsequently shoot on sight.
While free roaming in the game world, you may engage in different activities like a vigilante minigame, a fire fighting activity, a paramedic service, and a taxi cab service. When you complete these activities, you get context-specific rewards. As Tommy, you have to build your empire, so you must purchase many properties distributed across the city.
